Overture, a provider of Ethernet-based broadband services to communications providers around the world, continues to make changes to its management team.

The privately held company on Monday named Chuba Udokwu as senior vice president for engineering.

Just last week, Overture named Mike Aquino as its chief executive officer and moved former CEO Jeff Reedy to chief strategy officer.

Udokwu most recently worked for Alcatel-Lucent where he was vice president for software, solutions and services.

“In filling this position, we were determined to find the absolute best leader to drive the engineering innovation that continues to be a major factor in our ongoing growth and success,” Aquino said in a statement. “We welcome Chuba to the company knowing his experience and expertise is well suited to help us scale our business to meet the needs of our growing customer base, and we look forward to his contributions.”

Earlier this year, Reedy had solidified his role as the company’s top executive when Kevin Sheehan and Matt Squire left the firm in December 2011. Sheehan had been CEO at Hatteras Networks, a former Ethernet competitor that merged with Overture. Squire had been chief technology officer.

Overture shortened its name from Overture Networks earlier this year and also created a new logo. The company works with some 450 communications providers worldwide.
