Wall Street will have all eyes on Red Hat’s (NYSE: RHT) financials today.
But in Raleigh, eyes also are tracking the Hatters’ move across town from N.C. State’s Centennial Campus to its new 17-story office tower dowtown.
Today is earning’s day for the world’s top Linux software developer and services providers. But bigger news is taking place almost daily for Hatter employees as more and more move into their new home that is being vacate by the former Progress Energy (now part of Duke Energy.)
The Skinny recently was given a tour of the first floors being occupied by the Hatters – and the transformation from power company neutrality to Linux chic is nothing short of remarkable.
But pictures tell the story much better than words. So check out photos from The Skinny’s tour.
Be sure to check out the “slide show” link with this report for more photos.
Just bear in mind this – only the first few floors have been remodeled to Red Hat’s desires.
By year’s end, who knows – Red Hat Tower, or RHT as it is called in a play off its NYSE stock ticker symbol, just might have some sort of red fedora for all Raleigh to see on the outside.
