Clinipace Worldwide and BioResource International in Morrisville plus NextLot in Raleigh are among 11 North Carolina firms whose growth places them among the nation’s fastest growing companies.

So says Inc magazine in its 2012 Inc 500 list.

Clinipace, which focuses on life science services, ranks No. 260 with a three-year growth rate f 1,383 percent that lifted annual revenues to $18.5 million.

The firm, which launched in 2003, now employs 133 people.

NextLot, a developer of online auction software, came in No. 356. its three-year growth rate of 1,046 percent, drove revenues to $2.4 million.

Launched in 2007, NextLot has 20 workers.

BioResource International, a developer of technology that turns waste into livestock feed, ranks No. 397 with a three-year growth of 937.5 percent and revenues of $12.7 million.

The firm, which was formed in 1999, employs 17 people.

Across North Carolina, some 126 firms – several of which are located in the Triangle – made the much larger Inc 500 list.

FLS Energy in Asheville ranked best among the North Carolina firms at No. 109, having grown revenues 2,728 percent to $39.1 million.

New America Mortgage in Charlotte increased revenues 2,478 percent to $35.7 million and ranks No. 128.

Rapier Solutions, which is based in Matthews and provides IT services, ranks No. 139 with growth of 2,336 percent and revenues of $3.6 million.
