DURHAM, N.C. – The FiveOneNine Games Publishing Program is now online.
During Casual Connect Seattle this week, the Durham-based firm announced the platform to continue creating and publishing high-quality social and casual games by connecting with some of the best game developers in the world.
FiveOneNine Games is a joint venture of the EW Scripps Company (NYSE: SSP) and Capitol Broadcasting.
FiveOneNine’s Publishing Program is unique to the industry, giving developers a high level of transparency and therefore having a rigorous selection process. Only the best games that fit the company’s strategy and the corporate brand identity of FiveOneNine Games and its parent companies will be admitted into the program.
Criteria for selection include fun, compelling game play, player-focused social elements and content that aligns with FiveOneNine’s vision to make social games with content from the real world for casual gamers.
Developers that are selected will benefit from strategic guidance, involvement with strategic decisions, community management support, testing insight, hosting and deployment support, game performance analytics and confidence knowing that their game is one of only 10-20 titles that FiveOneNine is publishing per year.
Each developer’s game will also receive the same level of analytics, design and community as FiveOneNine’s in-house titles.
