The Council for Entrepreneurial Development has selected the first 30 companies to participate in its annual venture capital conference, which is coming up Sept. 11-12 in Raleigh.

The “Demo Company” selections will each have a booth at which to present its technology and also have a chance to present to venture capitalists, angel investors and other attendees at the event.

“We are excited to welcome North Carolina’s finest technology companies to the CED Tech Venture Conference 2012,” said Joan Siefert Rose, president of CED. “These Demo Companies showcase the strength of North Carolina’s technology industry and its entrepreneurial culture.”
