Sears.com is adding tools from e-commerce services provider ChannelAdvisor in an effort to better integrate its products and offerings.
“Our goal is to offer the best assortment of products from the top names in retail in order to provide our loyal customers and Members with the best online purchasing experience,” said Sears Holdings president of Online, Marketing, Pricing and Financial Services Imran Jooma. “We think ChannelAdvisor’s new and complete self-service offering reinforces our position as a leading marketplace.”
Financial terms were not disclosed.
“Working with Sears certainly increases the value of our Marketplaces solution and provides yet another avenue for retailers to reach new sources of demand,” said ChannelAdvisor Senior Product Manager Marc Sebes. “Sears.com is an incredibly large online mass merchant, and our retailers can now leverage the trusted brand name to reach millions of loyal Sears shoppers through its marketplace. By enhancing our support for Sears, we now offer a complete range of self-service to full-service integration options with support for all open Sears categories.”
ChannelAdvisor is based in Morrisville.
