Six startup companies currently being nurtured and mentored at the Triangle Startup Factory will graduate in a sense on June 7.
That’s the day the Factory will put on its “Pitch Day.”
Each new companies will make an 8-minute “pitch” to potential investors. The Startup Factory has already invested $50,000 in the companies, and more investment is possible.
This is the first class for the Factory. Five firms were selected originally. (Read about the five here.
“We get our hands dirty during a 12 week intensive program,” the Factory says in its blog.
“Our companies are mentored by some of the most successful entrepreneurs, CEOs, and experts in the area.
“We started with over 100 applications. Six dynamic and innovative teams were chosen and have since been working on diverse and equally interesting ideas. They have spent countless hours in the Triangle Startup Factory space, refining their business models and products. Now, they are gearing up to present to YOU.”
The event will begin at 10 a.m. For information, click here.
The next round of companies will be picked in coming weeks with the “Fall” session opening Aug. 27.
