Research In Motion, the Canda-based maker of BlackBerry smartphones and other devies, says two more senior execs have left the company.
RIM has a research and development office in Cary.
Bloomberg reported the news Friday.
RIM (Nasdaq: RIMM) told Bloomberg news that Senior Vice President Alan Brenner and Alistair Mitchell, a vice president for the BlackBerry instant messaging service, are part of the latest shakeup. Brenner is planning to leave after a “transition” period and Mitchell has quit, the company said. Brenner is senior VP for the BlackBerry platform.
The company is reviewing strategic options, including a possible sale.
