Consonus, a provider of data center and other information technology services, has a new name.
StraTech.
It’s similar to that of Strategic Technologies, the name of the Cary-based firm co-founded by Mike and Will Shook, which merged with Consonus. The Shooks left the company in 2009.
StraTech remains part of Midas Medici Group Holdings.
Ownership and management remain the same, StraTech said.
“When we sold our data center assets in Utah, we saw an opportunity to review our brands,” said StraTech President Bob McCarthy in a statement. “The StraTech brand is most closely aligned and related to our execution strategy and tagline — ‘Get IT. Virtually Anywhere’.
“StraTech builds, manages, protects and supports customer solutions across all data center environments: customer-owned, colocation facilities, and the cloud.”
