A Raleigh company is rolling out a new product that it says will help ensure fiber optic networks “light up” the way they are designed to do – even before the first trench is dub or cable laid.
M2 Optics says its “Fiber Lab 3200” packs the technology needed to emulate a fiber network in one box.
“The Fiber Lab 3200 is a 19″ rack-mounted optical fiber management package that can be customized with virtually any fiber type or mix, including lengths, splices, and connectors to precisely match a physical network’s specifications,” the company says.
The lab can be used to conduct product development and certification, long distance network simulation, latency testing, and more.
Each box is custom designed and priced accordingly.
M2 was founded in 2001.
