Another capacity crowd packed the Raleigh Civic Center on Sunday for the professional videogamers showdown across four games in the finals of the three-day Major League Gaming event with $120,000 in prize money on the line.
Bomber, Infamous, Counter Logic Gaming and FeaR went home the winners.
In StarCraft 2, Bomber defeated Coca.
In Halo: Reach, Infamous beat Instinct.
In League of Legends, Counter Logic Gaming prevailed.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops, FeaR won first prize.
Patrick “Aches” Price from Sanford led Quantic Leverage in the Call of Duty competition, but the team didn’t make the finals. The top seeds finished with a 5-3 match record.
League of Legends awarded prizes of $12,500 for first and $7,500 for second.
Halo: Reach’s winner earned $20,000.
Black Ops first was worth $10,000.
Starcraft 2’s champ earned $5,000.
