• Charlotte firms wins $54M emissions contract
Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group has won a $54 million contract to design and supply two emissions control units for a utility plant operated by Northern Indiana Public Service Company.
The units will target sulfur dioxide emissions at two coal-fired plants.

The Durham-based company says that it is reducing the size of a trial for its MiStent Drug-Eluting Coronary Stent System to 171 from 270 subjects after positive results in its first in-human study of 10 patients.
