ATLANTA – Venture Atlanta is seeking applications from companies to present at its 10th annual venture capital conference this fall.
The conference is being expanded to two days. It is scheduled for Oct. 25-26.
The Atlanta CEO Council, Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Technology Association of Georgia are the event’s organizers.
As many as 50 companies will be selected. The application deadline is Aug. 31. There are no application fees.
Areas of interest for firms wanting to present include:
• Clean/Green
• Cloud/SaaS
• Consumer
• Enterprise
• Health IT
• Mobile
• Web
The first day will focus on early stage companies.
“Venture Atlanta was an invaluable networking event that helped introduce our company to interested financial partners from across the country,” said Richard diMonda, a 2010 participant, and president of Velocity Medical Solutions, an Atlanta-based Oncology imaging informatics company. “As a showcase company, we were given access to critical resources that helped us simplify and better communicate our value proposition… a value proposition that we still use today as we expand and grow our business.”
