MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The “help wanted” sign is up at Lowe’s headquarters.

The home improvement chain said Monday it plans to add 150 information technology jobs and fill another 150 IT positions as part of its plans to boost store support and its online offerings.

Lowe’s said it already has more than 1,000 employees working on technology.

The jobs will be added at its Mooresville headquarters.

Openings include:

• Business analysis
• Engineering
• Communications network
• Ecommerce
• Application development
• Program management
• Project management
