The North Carolina Technology Association hosts its annual “State of Technology” conference today at the Sheraton Imperial with an emphasis on what’s ahead in tech for the remainder of 2011 – and beyond.

David McQueeney, vice president of software at IBM Research, will deliver the keynote, talking about what Big Blue developers are pursuing.

IBM employs some 10,000 people at its campus in RTP.
