Entrepreneurs wanting some help in formulating, developing and pitching a business idea will have a chance to get some outside help and experienced counsel at “Startup Weekend.”

The 54-hour event is set for June 3-5 at the American Tobacco Campus.

Titled “Triangle Startup Weekend,” it is being put on by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development along with other partners. It’s part of an international series of annual events designed to help startups get off the ground.

Ideas are developed on Friday, prototyped on Saturday and presented to a panel of experts on Sunday.

Tickets to participate as an entrepreneur are $59 and for onlookers are $75 if purchased before May 5. Prices increase thereafter.

Partnering with the CED are the Triangle Interactive Marketing Association and Triangle Business Law.

The Startup Weekend organization is based in Seattle.
