WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Clinical Ink, a provider of electronic records for use in clinical trials, will utilize DataChambers for hosting of its systems, servers and databases.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Both companies are based in Winston-Salem.

Clinical Ink enables clients to utilize electronic forms and tablet computers in clinical trials.

Doug Pierce, CEO of Clinical Ink, says the company evaluated several data centers across the nation before selecting DataChambers as its information technology partner.

“DataChambers impressed us with facilities that are absolutely world-class,” said Clinical Ink Chief Executive Officer Doug Pierce in a statement. “Their data center is a remarkable place and as good as any I’ve ever seen. But so is their staff. They are as exceptional as the facility where they work.”
