Those sounds you hear when watching new ads from Dex One (NYSE: DEXO) aren’t coming from an orchestra.

They’re sounds from businesses – as in tools, keyboards and more.

The Cary-based company launched an ad campaign on Wednesday called “Dex Local Rhythms” that promotes its connection with local businesses and their customers. Dex One, which is fighting a slumping sales market a year after emerging from bankruptcy, says the ads are part of a “multi-million dollar” campaign.
