Randall Bennett, founder of Secure Enterprise Computing, is making news this week but not because of a big client win.
Instead, Bennett is featured in a Fortune magazine story that analyzes the challenges of transitioning management within a company as highlighted by the CEO switch announced last week by search giant Google.
The magazine picked Bennett to discuss how he transitioned from CEO to chairman while bringing in Triangle business executive Bob Pickens to run Secure Enterprise Computing on a day-to-day basis.
“You can have 100% of nothing or 50% of millions,” Bennett told Fortune. “I’ve seen a lot of entrepreneurs fail over the years. They’re not able to give up [control].”
