If you are using a smartphone loaded with applications, you might want to be careful, according to the Wall Street Journal.
A test of 101 popular “apps” found that 56 were transmitting users’ information without their awareness or consent, the newspaper found.
“These phones don’t keep secrets,” the Journal said. “They are sharing this personal data widely and regularly, a Wall Street Journal investigation has found.”
