Michele “Mikki” Leach, a finance executive, will become director of mergers and acquisitions at RTI International.
The appointment is effective Jan. 1.
Leach has served as director of financial reporting compliance at RTI.
“Many companies use mergers and acquisitions to help drive growth,” said Ward Sax, treasurer and chief risk officer at RTI. “These types of investments will help RTI fund and expand research, move into complementary and new markets and enhance our services. I am pleased Mikki will be leading this important effort for the institute.”
Leach will seek and evaluate merger and acquisition opportunities for RTI. A graduate of Grand Valley State University with degrees in accounting and international relations, she has worked at RTI since 2008.
Before joining RTI, Leach worked at Waste Industries USA and Progress Energy.
