Social media firm Three Ships hires sales executive

Brian Baker, a former sales executive with Raleigh-based Hosted Solutions, is the new vice president of sales at Three Ships Media.

Three Ships, which launched 14 months ago, focuses on social media.

“Brian Baker understands customer acquisition and he understands how big an opportunity this is for marketers,” said Three Ships founder and Chief Executive Officer Zach Clayton.

Baker most recently worked as managing partner at Plus One Partners, an advisory firm.

Three Ships now has more than 20 employees.
