Lenovo executives who have said they want to expand into emerging market countries, plans to set up a subsidiary in Indonesia, according to the Jakarta Globe.
The newspaper quoted Sandy Lumy, whom it identified as Lenovo’s ‘chief representative” for Indonesia. The subsidiary is to open in April.
Lenovo plans to ship PCs directly from China to Indonesia rather than route them through Singapore, which is the current procedure, the newspaper added.

Lenovo operates its global headquarters in Morrisville, but most of its operations are located in China.
