The BIG Council, the non-profit serving entrepreneurs, will offer a program titled "How to Achieve a Successful Exit" on Oct. 19 in Charlotte at the Duke Mansion.

The 2:30 to 6 p.m. event will include a presentation, "Current Environment for Exit," from Tom Temple, managing director, of cosponsor Brookwood Associates.

There will be a panel discussion on "Managing the Exit Process / Post Exit: Life after the Deal Is Done." That group will be Rob Tyndall, VP of  Brookwood Associates as moderator; Chris Bennett, founder of MEDIC FIRST AID; Ed McMahan, principal at Falfurrias Capital; Garth Moulton, co-founder of Jigsaw, creator of Salesforce; and Greg Thompson, chairman and CEO of Thompson Group.

A case-study presentation of Peak 10’s exit process will feature Temple, Peak 10 CEO David Jones and CFO Brian Noonan, Womble Carlyle partner Jeff Hay and Grant Thonton partner Mike Ryan.

There will be a reception after the event. It is free for Business Innovation & Growth Members, $65 in advance for guests and $75 at the door.

BIG "aims to create an intimate community of like-minded, high potential entrepreneurs and provide a meaningful and rewarding peer-to-peer exchange among those facing similar challenges with growing their businesses."
