With the stock price up nearly 30 percent from its opening day, SciQuest (Nasdaq: SQI) said Thursday that the underwriters of its initial public offering exercised all 900,000 of their allotted shares.

The Cary-based provider of online procurement software and services with an IPO of 6 million shares priced at $9.50 a share.

Since then, SciQuest hasn’t traded for less than $11 and has hit a high of $13.75.

Shares closed Wednesday at $12.15.

Stifel Nicolaus Weisel, William Blair & Company, JMP Securities and Pacific Crest Securities handled the IPO.
