Survey: Many iPhone users might bolt AT&T for Verizon Wireless

If Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) ever ends its exclusive deal with AT&T (NYSE: T) for the iPhone, many AT&T wireless customers would bolt for Verizon Wireless.

So says a new survey from professional services and consulting firm Deloitte.

Nearly half of iPhone owners would be “very interested” in changing providers, Deloitte said.

"If another carrier were to pick up the iPhone, you would probably see a number of defections," said Ed Moran, director of insights and product innovation at Deloitte, according to Reuters.
