Activating College & Career Readiness in North Carolina’s STEM Communities is the first event on Sept. 28 where community leaders from across North Carolina’s public and private sectors converge to develop new relationships, learn from and engage with state and national experts to solve current science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) challenges.

This event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at in Raleigh. Limited space is available. Cost is $35 and registration ends on Sept. 17.


Later that evening, you’re invited to participate in Why STEM Matters: All Kids College & Career Ready – and evening program and networking reception.

NC STEM will host leaders from six college-ready STEM states, national organizations, and STEM experts during this event. It’s an exclusive chance to connect with North Carolina educators, business leaders, and public officials as well as STEM leaders from around the country.

The NC STEM Community Collaborative helps communities throughout North Carolina ensure that all students engage in rigorous and relevant STEM education that provides them with good choices in life and bolsters the economic strength of their communities. NC STEM is supported by MCNC, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Battelle Memorial Institute, and community partners.
