CHARLESTON, S.C. – is relocating their corporate headquarters from Columbia, S.C. to Charleston, S.C., the company announced on Monday.

For four consecutive years, the privately-held firm has been named a Mortgage Technology Magazine’s Top 50 service provider offering Web‐based, all‐in‐one mortgage origination software for community banks, credit unions, and mortgage bankers.

Charleston Mayor, Joseph P. Riley, Jr. welcomed the move of Avista Solutions to Daniel Island, an area in the Cainhoy District.

“We are very pleased to have directly facilitated the relocation of Avista’s headquarters to Daniel Island by providing them a transitional and professional office environment at the Flagship – Charleston’s premier co‐working and business incubator facility in downtown Charleston,” Riley said.

Avista Solutions CEO Mark Phlieger cited Charleston’s support of the technology industry through targeted initiatives, the ability to attract high-quality talent, and Charleston’s lifestyle as primary reasons for choosing to locate their headquarters.

Kirk King, chairman of the Charleston Digital Corridor, said Avista Solutions is a terrific addition to the city’s growing roster of technology companies on Daniel Island, which includes companies such as Blackbaud and Benefitfocus.

Avista Solutions currently has 40 employees.
