MORRISVILLE, N.C. – Lenovo, the world’s No. 4 PC maker that has unleashed a wide variety of machines over the past year, is rolling out three new servers that start under $900 in price.

The ThinkServer models (RD230, RD240, TD230) are Lenovo’s first with dual processors and includes remote management as well as enhanced data protection.

“Instead of offering customers expensive add-ons, we built in manageability and performance features, like remote management and hot swappable drives, that growing businesses need,” said Tom Ribble, director of ThinkServer Product Marketing. “And we did this while keeping prices extremely affordable.”

The RD240 includes up to eight hard drives and eight terabytes of storage as well as a dual power supply. The RD240 and RD230 are designed for a rack configuration.

The Td230 is a tower server designed to fit under a user’s desk.
