RALEIGH, N.C. – , an international firm with an office in Raleigh, has acquired Florida-based Sunbelt Software, which is focused on Windows enterprise security.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
GFI provides a variety of enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Sunbelt offers a product suite called VIPRE that GFI says it will merge into its own e-mail security and web security solutions.
Sunbelt also offers a software distribution business, which GFI said will be “divevsted into a separate entity.”
Based in Clearwater, Fla., Sunbelt was founded 16 years ago.
