CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District is going to use telecommunications services from under terms of a new three-year contract.

TWCBC won the contract through a bidding process.

The company spent some $3.4 million to install fiber network and other equipment to the schools. TWCBC will provide Metro Ethernet connectivity to more than 200 schools.
