ATLANTA – Kudzu Interactive is planning to spread its business, having raised $7 million in a Series B round of venture funding.

Northwest Venture Partners led the round. Existing individual investors also participated in the round.

Kudzu operates , a provider of e-commerce solutions for online and mobile ordering.

“Kudzu Interactive reached profitability and grew revenues 420% in 2009,” said Jim Garrett, founder and chief executive officer of the firm. “We chose to raise capital now to solidify our leadership position and feel strongly that the next 18 months will give us the opportunity to own the online and mobile ordering space for casual dining.”

Snapfinger already works with more than 28,000 restaurants in more than 1,600 cities.
