CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Veteran FairPoint Communications executive Lisa Hood is taking over as chief financial officer of the company on an interim basis.
Hood, who also is the controller, replaces Alfred Giammarino, who resigned immediately for personal reasons, according to the company.
Hood has worked with FairPoint, a provider of local telecommunications services in 18 states, since 1993.
