• VR Business Sales, Mergers & Acquisitions closes S.C. sale

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – has helped close on the sale of Columbia, S.C.-based Micro Price from Richard Stansfield to Frank Piet.

VR represented Stansfield in the sale. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Micro Price provides PC networking, telephone systems, Web design and other managed services. The company will continue to operate under the same name.

VR focuses on sales of privately held firms.

• SciQuest expands its service offerings

CARY, N.C. – is rolling out a new service designed to help clients take better advantage of its procurement services.
