CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Pete Walsh, the top technology executive for the Dallas Cowboys who led efforts to make the stadium a pacesetter in high-tech fan participation, will be the keynote speaker for the annual conference in Charlotte.

The event is set for April 14 at the Hilton Charlotte Center City. The program begins at 7:30 a.m.

The Cowboys stadium, which cost more than $1 billion, was built in Arlington, Texas.

Walsh will discuss “Technology Drives Business: Taking Technology Beyond the Gridiron.”

Other speakers include Kathy Harris, an analyst at Gartner Research, Joan Lorden, provost at UNC-Charlotte, and Robert Wilhelm, executive director of the Charlotte Research Institute.
