RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The U.S. Army is expanding use of portable LED lighting systems from , having purchased 24 WhiteEye Tactical Lighting Tower Systems for use in Iraq.

The Army already is using two BrightEye systems purchased in 2008. The Cyberlux systems are being used to support Army aviation operations.
