Epic President Michael Capps recently told VentureBeat that major news would be announced at E3. ()

According to Edge, a video trailer about the new Gears could premier as soon as April 8, which is ‘exactly one year ahead of the game’s penciled in release date.”

In other news, Epic Vice President Mark Rein told G4TV that Epic would not be releasing any titles this year.
