• PowerSecure says order backlog to top $115M
WAKE FOREST, N.C. – A surge in demand for its power supply products and services has created a backlog of demand that will “exceed $115 million” when it issues quarterly earnings on March 11, (Nasdaq: POWR) said Thursday.
New business is “over $50 million” this quarter. The revenue backlog last quarter was $90 million.
• Garmin picks Cary for its Triangle office
CARY, N.C. – Mobile navigation technology company will open its previously announced Triangle operation in Cary, according to The News & Observer.
Garmin plans to have 40 engineers onboard by April 1 when the 14,000 square foot operation opens at Duke Realty’s regency Forest II building, a company spokesperson told The N&O.
• TeleHealth expands deal with Nebraska health care provider
RALEIGH, N.C. – , a provider of health care-grade televisions and on-demand video services for patient education, is expanding its relationship with Nebraska-based Alegent Health.
Additional TeleHeath services are part of a major upgrade plan for five hospitals in the Omaha, Neb., area.
“From healthcare televisions to its TIGR interactive patient education systems, TeleHealth provides our patients and staff with on-demand access to condition-specific education at the bedside,” said Beth Gibbs, a spokesperson for Alegent.
