KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Business is good at The pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturer in Kannapolis and Landis plans to add up to 40 jobs and expand operations in 2010, according to the company president.
"Our plan is to add manufacturing, quality and chemist opportunities to our current workforce," Mike Kane said in an e-mail.
Harmony Labs will add the jobs throughout the year as additional manufacturing requirements are scheduled, he said. The company, which specializes in making products like acne treatments and sunscreens, has three locations and about 225 employees in Kannapolis and Landis.
To consolidate laboratory and raw-material operations in Kannapolis, the company will add up to 10,000 square feet at its headquarters in the former Walmart on North Cannon Boulevard.
