S.C.-based NuVox to expand wireless VoIP services via WiMAX

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Communications service provider is expanding its Voice over Internet Protocol services through WiMAX wireless technology.

NuVox is partnering with DigitalBridge Communications to provide the service in selected markets.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

NuVox has some 90,000 customers in the southeast and Midwest.
