STAMFORD, Conn. – (NYSE: IT) said Monday that it finished its purchase of AMR Research Inc. for $63 million in cash.
Gartner, a technology research and analysis company, said that it expects AMR to report $40 million in revenue this year. AMR offers research and advisory services to supply chain management and information technology companies.
Gartner had announced the purchase earlier this month and said it was expected to close this year. The company does not believe the purchase will have a material impact on its financial results this year, but anticipates it will add to its earnings going forward.
