DURHAM, N.C. – C. James Meese, Jr., interim president and chief executive officer at (OTC: SOLN), has left the company “in order to attend to his family business,” the company said Wednesday.

Meese remains a member of the board at the company, a provider of business software solutions.

Dror Zoreff, chairman of the board, was named interim CEO by the board.

Zoreff, 64, joined the board in April of 2008 and has been chairman since May of this year.

Smart Online said Zoreff will continue to be paid $5,000 per month. Meese will receive $2,000 a month for service on the board while a severance package is negotiated, the company added.
