RALEIGH, N.C. – Clinical research organization is expanding its presence in Italy with a new office in Milan.
The expansion is the latest in a series of moves by the company to meet growing demand for its clinical trial services. In September, PRA opened a South Korean operation. In July, PRA added a drug safety center in Brazil. Last January, the firm unveiled expansion plans for Asia, and in December it expanded in Mexico as well as in Germany.
PRA operates in more than 65 countries and has offices in 36 offices around the world.
The company has operated in Italy since 2003.
"This opening, along with PRA’s other expansions around the world, is helping us to meet the increased needs and demands of our customers,” said Ludger Langer, PRA’s vice president for clinical operations in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa.
