Venture Atlanta picks first 20 companies for presentation at annual conference

ATLANTA – plans to have more than 45 startups making presentations at its annual venture conference on Oct. 13-14. The first 20 firms were announced this week.

According to organizers, Venture Atlanta drew a record number of applicants for the showcase.

"With more companies than ever before presenting at this year`s event, investors have a better look at what the metro-area has to offer," said David Hartnett, vice president of Economic Development for the Metro Atlanta Chamber. "Each company represents the innovation and diversity of the Atlanta market."

Presenting companies include:

• Asankya
• Pardot
• Cloud Sherpas
• RentWiki
• CRE Commerce
• SoloHealth
• Efreightsolutions
• Top Eye View
• Endavo Media and Communications
• Transfusion & Transplantation Technologies (3Ti)
• FirstView
• Utility Associates
• Greenway Medical Technologies
• Vertical Acuity
• Message Technologies
• Zooz Mobile
• Music Intelligence Solutions

The conference will open on Oct. 13 with an additional 25 firms that will be announced in the near future.

The Atlanta CEO Council, Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) are putting on the conference.
