NORCROSS, Ga. – , a provider of distance education degree programs, has closed on a new round of financing from Sterling Partners.
The amount of the funding was not disclosed. Funds will be used for expansion of programs as well as upgrades in technology infrastrcutre.
Ashworth offers secondary and post-secondary distance education programs.
“The capital will support Ashworth’s continued growth as an affordable educational alternative for individuals seeking to improve job skills, expand intellectually, complete a degree program or master a craft,” the college said in a statement.
Ashworth opened in 1987.
Sterling Partners has worked with Ashworth in the past.
