CHARLOTTE – Knowmad Technologies owners William McKee and Diona Kidd have been accepted into the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Accelerator Program, specifically designed to help small businesses break through the million dollar revenue barrier. The Charlotte EO Accelerator Program is offered through EO Charlotte, which is part of a global community of more than 6,500 entrepreneurs worldwide. The EO Accelerator Program is a three-year program for young entrepreneurs providing mentoring, networking and business guidance while delivering education in four key areas: Strategy, Finance, Sales and People.
“The EO Accelerator Program will connect us with owners of businesses that are about the same size as ours who have growth goals similar to ours,” says McKee. “It also gives us access to guidance from successful entrepreneurs that have reached the million dollar mark and beyond.”
Founded in 2002, Knowmad Technologies is a leading integrator of Open Source Web solutions, providing design, development and support for standards-based Web sites and applications. The company has experienced impressive revenue growth, but McKee and Kidd want to get revenues to $1 million more quickly.
“Sharing experiences and learning from other successful entrepreneurs will help us to reach our goals faster,” says Kidd. “We’re looking forward to being a part of the EO Accelerator Program.”
