ATLANTA – , which sell s a variety of specialty cosmetic and skin care products and operates the 29 Spa franchise, has raised $1.4 million in venture funding.

, which also is based in Atlanta, made the investment.

29 Luxury Goods focuses on grape seed extract products that the company touts as anti-aging.

"29 represents the proof of concept and market penetration that Williams Venture Partners seeks in investment opportunities,” said John Williams, Jr., the venture firm’s managing partner.

29 Luxury Goods launched in 2007. It plans to use the funding for expansion of distribution efforts, said Chief Executive Officer Lydia Mondavi.
