MATTHEWS, N.C. – PokerTek (Nasdaq: PTEK) is raising nearly $500,000 from a new investor through a stock offering.
After the markets closed Tuesday, said it would issue 565,000 shares of stock to ICP Electronics at a price of 85 cents per share.
PokerTek shares closed at 72 cents Tuesday but rose to 79 cents in after-hours trading.
The company develops automated poker tables and related software for use in casinos and aboard cruise ships worldwide.
