Micel recently closed on a $5 million round of venture capital and wants to move into the drug-eluting stent market with its nanotechnology. The latest move is one of many made by the company over the years in various fields of technology, starting with C02.
“Micell Technologies Inc. is like the talented college graduate who hasn’t exactly found his place in life, bouncing around from one unrelated profession to the next,” wrote Jonathan Matsey in the dispatch.
“But after years applying its technology from everything to the dry cleaning industry to semiconductors, Micell believes it is close to smelling success – with drug-eluting stents.”
