, a provider of data hosting and other information technology services, is going to build a new data center at its 80-acre campus and also will expand its existing center.

The two projects will cost some $9 million.

According to DataChambers, the expansions are being made in order to accommodate customer demand.

The new center, which will be located under ground, will cover 20,000 square feet. The current facility will be increased in size by 1,500 square feet.

“We’re responding to a strong growth in our business – fueled by companies trying to do more with limited budgets,” said Nicholas Kottyan, DataChambers’ chief executive officer. “Typically our clients find we can deliver a level of service they simply are unable to replicate affordably on their own.”

DataChambers currently has more than 110 customers spread across 28 states.
